最近在電影和書上常看到 Humor me 的說法，
如在恐佈電影1408(是故事描述一位鐵齒，
不真正相鬼的恐怖小說家麥可恩斯林，
專門來到鬧鬼的旅舍來住宿並寫成書，
某晚來到了一家高級旅館，
其經理歐林告訴恩斯林千萬不要住1408房)裡面就有一個對白就是經理歐林對恩斯林說：「Just humor me」請他去經理辦公室打算對他談1408的恐佈歷史。這裡的「Humor」的英英解釋為 to agree with somebody’s wishes, even if they seem unreasonable, in order to keep the person happy.
另有網路字典( http://www.urbandictionary.com)解釋為：
To do something for someone, when it seems stupid, explain something, physically do something for specified person...etc..etc
或作：to make someone less angry or to make someone happy or to fix something
Her: You were supposed to meet me at 8. Humor me.
Him: Sorry hun. Couldnt be avoided. Let me make it up to you now.
有大陸人翻成「你就順我的意/要求」吧，個人覺得還是翻得不夠貼切。
旋元佑大師建議可譯為：「就敷衍我一下吧！」
似乎這種用法常使用在當我們讓別人做什麼事情的時候，
因為這樣有點 stupid，人家不是很願意，
這時就可以用 just humor me 來試試看。
